The project?

As in many places around the world with a high poverty rate, it is the children of Sao Paulo, who suffer the most from their circumstances. Many do not have a home or place to stay.
Santiago de Marco and his wife Sandra heard of a large, unfinished house outside of Sao Paulo. They bought the building, intending to make it into place for about 17 children from the street. Currently living in New Zealand,

Santiago and Sandra are working together with a group around Ute Craemer of Monte Azul in Sao Paulo. They plan not only to accommodate and care for the kids, but also a youth centre offeringa wide range of courses addressing the local community. So Aramitan will be a creative centre for young underprivileged people helping them to lead a normal life and become the  architects of their own future.
