The Need
There are many projects in the world in urgent need of help and support.

There are many young people who want to address these needs of the world. They need opportunities to make their own experiences and through these to become responsible world citizens.

 The Aim

This Conference aims to connect three groups.

• Young people seeking social and practical engagement.

• Socially sustainable projects in need of practical and professional support.

• People with expertise who will share their experience with the two groups mentioned above.

We need to address two main needs – on the one hand fostering responsible young people, and on the other hand giving the projects the help they need. Inviting the third group is part of this attempt.

Coming together

The conference brings young people and projects together in a forum where they can meet each other and the projects. We are creating a space where the project co-workers too can exchange thoughts and experiences  with one another and meet the Youth that are eager to help them.

This builds up an awareness of global issues and connects young people in a global network.

 Vision
Today’s youth are responsible for the future development of our planet and therefore we need young people with strong identities to shape this future. We truly believe that putting ones own initiative into practice, to take the step from thinking to acting, is important for an individual’s development.

Next to the synergy we expect from bringing together all three groups, we would like to hold the whole event under the umbrella of Identity and it’s development.

Identity is and will be the most important factor for all personal development. Initiative is essential for Identity – therefore Identity through Initiative.

Elizabeth Wirsching: "Youth will always bring new impulses"

The Youth will always bring new impulses and inspirations for the benefit of humanity. The problem today is that these youth forces are not recognized enough in modern cultural life, but they are still there! By creating a platform for youth to connect with themselves and with others, the new impulses that youth bring to the world can find their way into reality.
