My name is Paul Werthmann, born 1984 in Hannover (Germany). I lived in Fulda and Kassel, and attended Waldorf schools. In that time I was involved with the student's newspaper and other projects in school. In 2004 I finished school and went to Brazil for my social service. Working in an institution for disabled people in a very poor area of Sao Paulo I got to know the conditions of these people, their life in a big city and a world of unemployment, poverty and sometimes violence.
In Sao Paulo I got to know the IDEM-Brazil group who are preparing the Connectivity conference.
Back in Germany, I'm doing a practical to prepare for medical school, which I'm going to start in March.
