Mathias is responsible for the YouthSection Web Site, and takes serious overhauls on the YouthSection Internet Café when needed.
He was born in 1983 in Oslo, Norway, but his parents soon moved to a place more suitable for children. This was Nesodden, 20 min. with a ferryboat from the center of Oslo. Mathias spent his early childhood in a normal kindergarten, but after a rather bad meeting with the state school, he moved over to the Waldorf School in 3rd grade; a life-changing move. Here he wrote a Year Project about Computers in Waldorf Education, and ended school in 2001. The next year he (unsuccessfully) re-tried the state educational system, studying informatics (computer science) at the University in Oslo. This led him to a one-year study of computers and humans as a part of the Individual Study Project at the Goetheanum, Dornach.
Mathias has been engaged in the YouthSection since high-school, and will continue his work (also at the Goetheanum) even though he returned to Norway in the autumn of 2004.
