Eric Hurner

Born May 1952 in Elisabethville (today Lumumbashi), Congo. Grew

up in South Africa. Studied Waldorf Education in Witten, Germany.

Worked as teacher at the Waldorf school in Johannesburg and lecturer

at the Baobab Community College in Alexandra, a township in

Johannesburg. Also as schools consultant for the new schools in the

area, but mostly with the schools in the black communities. Now

living in Switzerland. Founding member of Idem, and active in the

sphere of work camps, general management and the content of the Idem and Connectivity websites.

What am I doing with all these young people?! They seem to want the same things that I do - a better deal for the many people living in countries that are sucking the back tit of economic progress, and an environment that we can live in for many years to come.
